About 29th Wedding Anniversaries

You might still be 12 months short of another major marriage milestone, but celebrating your 29th wedding anniversary is just as important as any other.

The numbers tell it all: on your 29th anniversary you would have been married for 10,585 days, or 254,040 hours, or 15,242,400 minutes – which is over 914 million seconds. Pretty impressive when it’s outlined like that in black and white figures.

How to Celebrate a 29th Wedding Anniversary

Unlike many of the other wedding anniversary dates, the 29th celebration is not usually associated with traditional symbols or materials. However, you can always be sure that jewellery or flowers will delight your loved one, especially if they are enamoured with certain types of flowers or gemstones.

Buy her or the celebrating couple this beautiful bunch of flowers
We always recommend flowers for any wedding anniversary… buy a bouquet of carnival mixed flowers.

The only modern item associated with a 29th wedding anniversary gift is furniture. As you have been with one another for almost 30 years, you will know exactly what the other likes when it comes to furniture. So maybe take advantage of this and buy a love seat for the living room – or some garden furniture if the warmer months are beckoning.

You have to have the right sort of stone. Peridot for mothers, girasol for lovers, sapphire for sadness and garnet for joy.” Quoted by: Catherynne M. Valente

29th Wedding Anniversary Gifts for Him, Her… and the Couple

There are hundreds of different types of furniture you can choose from, depending on personal tastes and preferences. As furniture can be a fashionably contemporary gift, why not splash out on something really chic to make a statement in your home – or help your celebrating friends with an item for their own home make-over.

Your choice this year could be a pleasant lead-up to next year’s 30th celebrations, so especially bear that in mind when buying a 29th wedding anniversary gift.

I heard from my friend that her husband gave her a real star from kingdom of universe. He also told her that it’s a symbol of their love. He said his feelings to her will never end and she’s the brightest side of his life! I was so jeleous when she told me!

We never got to celebrate our anniversary he was so sick that day we just stayed home with our grandkids and parents. I never ever imagined that life would turn out the way it did. Three weeks before his passing he told me that I was going to do cpr on him and I said to him you can’t say things like this to me are you crazy. So guess what April 30,2018 I did work on my husband and I got him back twice. The first time I got him back he looked at me for a few seconds and then he closed his eyes I kept working on him and he opened his eyes a second time looked at me for a few seconds and then he closed them again I was crying and telling him don’t do this to me so I just kept doing cpr on him until the ambulance came but I knew when he closed his eyes the second time that he was gone. Paramedics could save him. He died of heart failure. So later on that day in the hospital waiting for family members I just sat there and watched him he was so at peace like he had a smile on him and that pain and sick look he had all the time all went away he just layed there so peaceful like no more hurt and pain. So I got thinking about what he had told me three weeks before he left me. I said you dam bugger you you knew I was going to work on you and you made sure that it was me the first time and you had to make sure that it was still me working on you that’s why you looked at me a second time and then you were gone. Oh how I miss him.
